Milk'll Fix It

Oh but it's gone cold eh?

I am too flud up to type much. Coughing like there's no tomorrow, whatever that means. It's 6 in the am. Feel to ill to be asleep. Played Brixton last night. I kept lapsing into the fog of illness but I think it sounded cool? We played our 'epic' To the Dog House live for the first time which was scary fun indeed (three vocal parts, mellotron flute sample action, dozens upon dozens of layers of drum sounds). I was a bit too ill to really enjoy it.

Support for the even came from fellow Brightonites Pope Joan who's anthemic "It's the same as when you asked me the last time" has been stuck in our heads for the last week. Nice filtery guitar sound.

This week, tracing the Curve family tree lead me to discover that I can plug a guitar into my Roland SH-101 synth! Haven't really explored it yet but I'm sure it'll be fun. You have been warned.

If you are waiting for T-shirts and CD's and things a fresh batch of goodies will be leaving Mekano Towers over the weekend. Promise. Also, the ludicrous store we've been promising for ages is almost ready to understand you.

Possibly we are doing some recording over the weekend. And next up we're playing in Brighton @ Freebutt on 13th. That'll probably be the last gig of the year for us so make the most of it. We're debating about what we can do to mark the occassion. Do some different songs. We'll see.

Like my Dad always says, you wanna put summat warm on round yer neck.
