You Don't Know...
Well, as usual i have nothing particularly exciting or interesting to say. i'm just going to waffle on for a while.. ok?
hmm.. where to start! thanks to the Playroom in London for a good gig & to anyone who was there, especially to the dancers (who, i might add, we didn't have to pay!) i had a really good time at club NME afterwards. Death From Above were playing. i'd never heard of them before, to be honest, but they're a pretty rocking live band (band as in duo i guess).
I'm listening to "This must be Place" by Talking Heads, I really love this band! They were so ahead of their time! The new Fiona Apple album is sounds great from what i've heard of it so far. what a fucking great voice! the sex just oozes from every note.
La Frange were at the Concorde 2 yesterday for Brighton Rocks. They're a great live band & have confirmed that they'll play the gig at the Cubar on 30th July. So the line up will be us, Ratdaddy (from Southampton) & then La Frange. Then after 11pm we'll start up the music & get dancing! (and free cake....)!
Have a listen to Doug Stanhope, he's a really funny fucker!!
