Lemonade in E flat
Well, we've been a bit slack about blogging recently. we've been drowning our misery at the lack of gigs that we have coming up!
We recently went to the Western Front to see some accoustic acts. Ayal from My Second Suprise did a few songs on his own & they were really good. they were certainly far above the other acts that played (in my opinion, of course)! i liked the take on Groove Jet by Spiller, really sad.
The Steam Age has got a great review on Downloads.com! worth having a quick read, and really fantastic to see that people have been downloading great music and that there are still people in the world who will listen to & download music that they don't already know. Next we'll be wanting to see some live stuff.. hint hint!!!
I have finally booked somewhere for the end of July. We will be meeting, drinking and dancing at the Cubar in Brighton (next to the Engine Rooms). It's a really nice little bar & it looks like they're willing to let us, pretty much, take control of the night. I am also hoping that we will have another 2 great bands (aside from ourselves, of course) playing too. There might also be free cake involved... not just any cake.... my special, magic, secret chocolate brownies.
Anyway, i'm going now. I need to use my new electric whisk!! Ha Ha!!
Stay happy!
