Having achieved, entirely without the aid of any form of corporate funding or mis-management: international airplay, hi-praise from the independant and mainstream press, The Mekano Set continue to produce (and sell-out) their own unique CD releases.
Inspired by a love of a decent 4 minute pop song, and a deep-routed hostility towards all things genre / conformity. A need to make music, and a desire to keep as low a profile as possible in the process. The Mekano Set = natural outsiders.
